James Webb Vs Hubble
Reflection
The James Webb and Hubble telescopes are long range satellite telescopes which are designed to explore the stars. Through this project, we were tasked with comparing and contrasting the two telescopes, to determine which one we feel was better. I ended up deciding that my favorite was hubbe, simply because it's the original, it was made first, and it walked so James Webb could run. I used information literacy to dissect and analyze information about the two telescopes. If this skill were not used I wouldn't have been able to piece together an unbiased compare and contrast slideshow. If in the future I have interest in space, this project is a great stepping stone to help understand how telescopes and light really work. If I did this project again I would love to have been able to research the history of the telescopes on a deeper level.

Moving Man Simulation:
Reflection:
Understanding velocity, movement and speed is quite a difficult concept to grasp when it comes to physics. The moving man simulation was designed to teach us students about these concepts. It uses simple images and concepts which we already understand. I'm proud to say that I am now able to understand and calculate speed and velocity without using the moving man's visuals. The moving man program was a very big learning curve and was tough to get by but in the end once you get it, it's smooth like butter. I would love to do it again and possibly play more with the movement side of things, because we were mainly focused on the velocity and speed side of things. Speed and velocity are key concepts in physics which I will be applying for the rest of the year. I am glad that I have a good understanding of it. Technological literacy is an obvious given for a skill that I used during this project. During every turn. Jumping over the learning curve of the moving man simulation definitely increased my technological skills.
