We were then tasked to study and create a presentation which acuratly displays the curlture, asthetics, food, music, customs and important events of the time. My assigned decade was the 1950s.
Reflection
I feel that this project built on my critical thinking skills. Through my hours of research in this project, I found myself constantly analyzing pimary sources, such as news articles, photographs and personal accounts, to gain a deeper knowlage of the era. This type of analysis requires stron analytical skils, the ability to evaluate sources for reliability and an understanding of historical context. This part of the project challenged my in the begining, but for the better half of it I really improved upon these skills, allowing me to swiftly and effectivley conclude this project. If I were to do this project again, I would have also liked to focus more on my digital literacy skills, creating a more astheticly pleasing slideshow. Having this understanding of why and how certain things have changed throughout time can help give me a better understanding of why certian social, political and economic systems have changed. This can help me identify patterns and trends to help me make informed decisions in life.
